About me
I am Polish. Foreign languages are my passion: I speak English, German and Italian fluently. I know Spanish, Russian and Latin to some degree and I know the basics of French, Ancient Greek and Hebrew. I study philosophy at the Catholic University of Lublin. I spent 3 years of my life in Berlin where I studied philosophy as well. I am well traveled which adds to my ability of grasping the right cultural context of a given text. In addition, psychology has been my interest for a few years now.Qualifications
English: Certificate of Proficiency in English passed with grade A.
German: studied in Germany for 3 years where I have learned to use the precise academic language required by the university.
Italian: I have used Italian for many years on various occasions (a part of my study in Berlin was in Italian), reaching fluency.
Education
Bachelor in Philosophy (a title gained in Berlin, issued by the Gregorian University of Rome). I continue my study of philosophy at the Catholic University of Lublin.Experience
English: I used to work both in the USA and in England. Translating and interpreting has been a part of my responsibilities. I have localized MacSword and helped with the localization of a few Open Source projects.
German and Italian: my main area of expertise has been translating and interpreting of academic text and lectures.
